This project is a fast-paced, experimental VR game built in Unreal Engine 4 using kitbashing techniques and Unreal marketplace plugins. Developed during the pandemic as a way to explore and prototype game design ideations, it serves as both a creative outlet and a testing ground for new mechanics. Players can unleash a wide arsenal of weapons, dual-wield swords to slice enemies into pieces, dodge, block and deflect bullets,slow down time for cinematic combat, and traverse environments dynamically with grapple hooks.
Built as a sandbox experiment, the project explores how many gameplay mechanics can be integrated into a VR shooter, testing the boundaries of immersion, responsiveness, and player freedom.
